Gilmore Diamond Calibration Laboratory is ISO 17025 compliant. Our Laboratory is accredited by NVLAP for the calibration of Rockwell Diamond Indenters and Ball Indenters.
Rockwell Hardness Testing calibration procedures mandate the use of Diamond Indenters that are verified for geometrical and performance standards, per ASTM and ISO requirements by an accredited laboratory. Each Indenter is assigned a certificate of compliance assuring traceability for that indenter.
Gilmore is the ONLY U.S. diamond indenter manufacturer accredited by the United States Department of Commerce / N.I.S.T. for the measurement and calibration of diamond indenters.
Diamond Indenters are manufactured and in stock for all makes and models of Rockwell Hardness Testing Machines. “Special Indenters” are also manufactured to blueprint specifications for use in difficult testing situations.
Damaged Rockwell Indenters can often be recut/repaired and re-certified to current ASTM E-18 specifications.
